Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, and currently lives in Southern Oregon, Ellie graduated from Kennewick High, of Washington state. Went on to attend several colleges, and earned her BA in Education, MA in Library Science, and MS in Adult Education. Now a new prolific writer, and fantastic published author, she has worked various jobs in her career life.

“My life has encompassed many quite varied experiences. I have worked in an attorney’s office, a travel agency, a welfare office, a newspaper office, as a teacher, a public librarian and finally as the director of a public library. I am or have been a mother, a daughter, a single woman, a wife, a widow, a partner, a grandmother and even a great grandmother. Writing has been the one constant through all of these.”

I write for the pure joy of writing. At first it was journals and musings, then short newspaper articles, some unpublished staged mystery/comedy plays, scripts for amateur musical productions, and now books. My hope is that my readers will enjoy my books and also be prodded to think about the actions and motives of my characters, to question their choices and why they made them, and to see the characters with greater insight.

I’ve been writing almost as long as I could hold a pencil and reading since I learned those strange marks in books meant something. Now I can indulge my passion for both.  Life is good!

Why are parents the way they are? Can we judge them without knowing all the circumstances that formed them? It reaches the point that a very disturbed young woman might be sentenced to murder if her own mind can’t be unlocked to find the truth. A real page turner. Highly recommend it!
