New Author Event I Will Be Appearing In So. Oregon

Hello Friends and Welcome Readers & New Visitors,

Have you ever visited Southern Oregon? Specifically Grants Pass, Oregon?
Well your missing out of a beautiful part of the USA! I thought I would share a few photo’s along with my Author Announcement & Appearance coming up in Grants Pass, Oregon.

The area I live in if famous for The Rogue River and the recreational lower area of the Rogue. Did you know that John Wayne filmed part of the movie he was in titled; Rooster Cogburn? Where he jumps off into the canyon is called; Hellgate Canyon. Also the movie The River Wild, with Kevin Bacon and Meryl Streep was also filmed here in our area.
There is so much to do in this area as well.

And there is nothing like the Oregon coast, where the rugged forest meets the coastline. It is just spectacular watching a winter storm come rolling in on the Oregon Coast. But, enough of the beauty, I have a fun author event coming up that if you’re in our area of So. Oregon and Grants Pass? It is a must visit area to come to!

The first Friday of every month is designated “First Friday Art Walk.”  Almost every store in the Grants Pass downtown area participates in this celebration.  It’s a little bit like the county fair, with crowds roaming the sidewalks, street musicians playing, stores offering sales and light finger foods, musical programs in some venues, art exhibits and so much more!

On April 3 during First Friday Art Walk, several local authors (including me) will be stationed outside the Wild Rogue Emporium, a  gift shop with an amazing variety of items.  We (the authors) will be autographing our books which are offered for sale in the Emporium, and talking with the folks who pass by.  This is truly a fun evening and one I guarantee you’ll enjoy.  So, if you’re anywhere in the vicinity of Grants Pass, plan to come by the Emporium at Sixth and G streets between the hours of 5:00 pm and 9:00 pm for a happenin’ event.

Grants Pass has a special love for, and supports all types of artists in our diverse community, which makes living here so special. So if you happen to find yourself in the area on Friday April 3rd 2015, come on over as I’d love to meet you there!

Much Happiness All,
Ellie Pulikonda, Author & Writer
